Movie, Television and Commercial Placement
Placement Take 2 Productions is a conduit for art to commerce. Through our relationships with recording artists and the entertainment industry we are continually working to find new financial opportunities for our artists. Placement of songs in TV and Film is a primary focus of Take 2. We are always listening for new artists to compliment our repertoire, if you are interested in working with Take 2 please send an email with two MP3s and lyrics to music@take2productions.net Length of Term Though this is a non-exclusive agreement we ask that you give us at least two years to shop your music. Please note that songs may be placed after the term of the agreement as a result of our efforts to place them during the term of the agreement. In other words, some placements may take months to come to fruition. In that case Take Two Productions will receive the same percentage of the publishing fees for that placement which have been agreed upon. We will give you an accounting of our work towards said placement, i.e. our scheduled meeting with the music supervisors, etc. Clearances By asking us to place your music you warrant to us that you own or control 100% of the copyright and have the right to the Master Recordings as well as the Musical Compositions. Please take note, YOU are responsible for making sure you have obtained all vocal and musician performance clearances. For your protection please consider having all performers you hire sign a clearance form at the time of their performance. You can find a sample clearance form in the Resources section here. Lyrics If you have typed lyrics, BPM, and composition key please enclose them with your submissions. Our website will feature an extensive search engine which will allow music supervisors to quickly find exactly what they are looking for.
